7 Proven Ways to Boot Windows 10 Into Safe Mode

There are seven different ways to boot into Windows 10 Safe Mode. If you’ve been using Windows 10 for quite a while, you may have found that the F8 or SHIFT + F8 keys on your computer keyboard no longer function to access Safe Mode. These approaches no longer function since the Windows 10 startup operation is now quicker than ever before. However, this does not imply that Windows 10 does not have a Safe Mode. But you have to go through some additional steps to get there. Once you boot into Windows 10 Safe Mode, the software loads a minimal user interface that contains only the components and drivers required for the system to run. As it does not load items that can trigger Windows to crash, this helps make troubleshooting easier. Read this guide through to the end to learn about all the ways you can boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode. But first, we’ll go about what to do if you can’t log into Windows 10, then we’ll go over what to do if you can. Methods 1–4 can be followed if you are unable to log in to Windows 10. However, if you can access Windows 10, proceed to methods 5–7. Below are 7 proven ways to boot Windows 10 into Safe Mode: Method 1 – Shift + Restart This method works on the Windows 10 Sign In screen. Step 1 – If you are unable to log into your computer on Windows 10, but can access the Sign In screen, click and hold your keyboard SHIFT key. While holding down this key, click the Power button to select Restart from the menu that appears. Step 2 – Your Windows 10 system will restart and prompts you to choose an option. Select Troubleshoot. Step 3 – After that, choose Advanced Options from the Troubleshoot screen. Step 4 – Select Startup Settings from the Advanced Options menu. The Startup Settings option may not be visible at first based on your Windows 10 screen. If you don’t see this option, click the “See more recovery options” link. Step 5 – On the Advanced options screen, click the “Startup Settings” option. Step 6 – Then a screen will appear on Windows 10, asking you to restart your system to change advanced boot options, such as allowing Safe Mode. Press the Restart button. Step 7 – After your computer restart, you can select which boot options you want. You have three choices for entering Safe Mode: • Standard Safe Mode – To use it, click the 4 or F4 key on the system keyboard • Networking Safe Mode – press 5 or F5 • Enter Safe Mode with Command Prompt by pressing 6 or F6 Enter Windows 10 Safe Mode with an admin user account to make the changes you want. Method 2 – Interrupt Window 10 Boot Process If Windows 10 fails to boot normally three times in a row, it enters an Automatic Repair mode by default the fourth time. Step 1 – You can enter Safe Mode by using this mode. To activate the Automatic Repair mode, you must interrupt the usual boot loop three times consecutively. Use the Reset or Power button on your Windows 10 PC to stop it during boot, before Windows 10 finishes loading., you will need to hold the Power button down for at least 4 seconds to switch off the device. As the system enters “Automatic Repair mode”, the first screen you see states that the operating system is “Preparing Automatic Repair.” Step 2 – Then, to proceed, you may also be required to choose an account. Select an account with administrative privileges and enter its password. But if you’re not prompted for this detail, proceed to the next phase. Sit tight for Windows 10 to attempt an automated diagnosis of your device. Step 3 – Then, the Automatic repair screen will appear. On the screen, you need to press the “Advanced options” button. Step 4 – From the next screen that appears, choose “Troubleshoot” options. Right From here, the methods you have to follow are much the same as we have explained in Method 1 – Step 7 in this guide. Navigate to “Advanced Options -> Startup Settings -> Restart.” Then, on the system keyboard, tap the 4 or F4 key to enter minimal Safe Mode, 5 or F5 to enter “Safe Mode with Networking,” or 6 or F6 to enter “Safe Mode with Command Prompt.” Method 3 – Bootable Windows 10 Setup Drive with Command Prompt If you have a bootable Windows 10 installation DVD or if you can make one you can also use it to load your damaged Windows 10 Computer into Safe Mode. Step 1 – Boot the Windows 10 Computer and wait for the setup environment to load. Select your preferred language and keyboard interface, then press Next. Step 2 – On the lower left side of the screen, click on the “Repair your computer” icon. Step 3 – Select “Troubleshoot” once asked which option you want. Step 4 – Select “Command Prompt” on the “Advanced options” screen. Step 5 – Enter the following command into the Command Prompt window: bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal. When you tap Enter on the system keyboard, it will inform you that “the process was successfully completed.” Step 6 – Close the Command Prompt and select “continue” when the next screen appears. When the computer restarts, Windows 10 enters Safe Mode. Log in with a user account that has administrative permissions and make the adjustments you want. Important note: The issue with this approach is that it instructs Windows 10 to boot into Safe Mode any time you boot it until you instruct it not to. To remove this setting and get Windows 10 to start normally again, repeat the process and enter the command: bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot. Method 4 – System Recovery USB Drive A computer recovery USB drive can be created in Windows 10. If your PC is not functioning, make this USB recovery drive on another device running Windows 10. Once you’ve built a USB recovery drive, boot the Windows 10 Computer from it and, when prompted, load its contents. Step 1 – The first screen prompts you to select a keyboard style. Choose the that you’ll want to use, or if it isn’t available, click “See more keyboard layouts” to see the full list of available layouts. Step 2 – After you’ve decided on a keyboard style, click Troubleshoot on the “Choose an option” screen. Step 3 – The very next directions to boot into Safe Mode are much the same as shown in the first method in this article (Method 1 – Step 7), which would be to follow this path: “Advanced -> Startup Settings -> Restart.” Then, on the system keyboard, tap the 4 or F4 key to enter minimal Safe Mode, 5 or F5 to enter “Safe Mode with Networking,” or 6 or F6 to enter “Safe Mode with Command Prompt.” Method 5 – System Configuration tool If you are able to log into your Windows 10 system, using the System Configuration tool is among the simplest ways to load your PC into Safe Mode. Many people are familiar with this tool according to its filename: msconfig.exe. Step 1 – Type the following words “system configuration” in the taskbar’s search section. Then, on the left, select the System Configuration shortcut. Step 2 – Select the “Boot” tab on your PC System Configuration window. Choose the “Safe boot” option in the Boot options section. Finally, press the OK button. Step 3 – Windows 10 asks you that you would need to restart your system for the new settings to take effect. If you still have some adjustments to make to do, choose “Exit without restart.” If not, you should choose “restart“, and your computer will enter Safe Mode after reboot. Method 6 – Shift + Restart on the Start Menu Another method for entering Safe Mode on your computer Windows 10 is to use the Start Menu options. Step 1 – To begin, press and hold the “SHIFT” key on your system keyboard. While holding down the key, press the Start -> Power -> Restart buttons. Step 2 – Your system will reboot and prompts you to choose an option. Select “Troubleshoot”. Step 3 – Following that, you must repeat the steps outlined in the first method of this guide (Method 1 – Step 7). In a summary, navigate to the “Advanced Options -> Startup Settings -> Restart.” Then, on the system keyboard, press 4 or F4 to enter Safe Mode, 5 or F5 to enter “Safe Mode with Networking,” or 6 or F6 to enter “Safe Mode with Command Prompt.” Method 7 –Settings app If you have administrator access to your Windows 10 PC, you can also enter Safe Mode from the Settings app. Step 1 – Click the Start button on the left side of the home screen, and tap on the Settings button. Step 2 – Navigate to the Update & security section. Step 3 – Click the Recovery button on the left side of the Settings window. Select the “Restart now” button on the right side of the app, in the Advanced startup section. Step 4 – Then, your system will reboot, after that, choose the “Troubleshoot” option. Step 5 – Just as in Method 1 – Step 7 we discuss in this tutorial, you should take the same steps. In short, you should therefore navigate to “Advanced Options -> Startup Settings -> Restart.” Then, on the system keyboard, press 4 or F4 to enter Safe Mode, 5 or F5 to enter “Safe Mode with Networking,” or 6 or F6 to enter “Safe Mode with Command Prompt.” Which Windows 10 Safe Mode Booting Method Do You Prefer? The Microsoft Windows 10 is a powerful fast operating system with a quick windows startup process. Getting into Windows 10 Safe Mode does not work as it did in previous versions of Windows, but the approaches available are similar to those in Windows 8.1. Why Are DIY Website Builders Bad?

Are you starting your own business? If so, then the first thing you need is a website, as this is an absolute necessity for customers to find you and your offers. But is it worth using do-it-yourself (DIY) website builders? I understand it is appealing to choose DIY website builders, as they often promise that it is easy and quick. Still, these sort of point-and-click sites can be disastrous for you and your business.

About DIY Website Builders

The DIY website builder is an alternative to websites created by professional designers using codes. For this, you do not even need any technical know-how and can still have a website of your own. There are multiple sites that offer such services if you don’t have the inclination to learn codes to build a website.

DIY website builders do not work from the ground levels; rather, they focus on the bigger picture. They offer numerous themes along with a template. All you need is to select a theme, use the editor to change the elements according to your needs, and publish it for viewers. Sounds pretty easy, right?

If you are willing to build a responsive website consisting of powerful analytics, appealing content creation, and an intelligent interface with links to social media, then a prevailing DIY website builder may not offer the speed you need. However, you may feel like you do not want to invest more money on hiring a professional and decide to do it yourself. Before making this hasty decision, you must consider why these DIY website builders may not offer the best solution.

Ownership Crisis

If you create a website using DIY builders, you will likely face an ownership crisis because you are not actually the owner of the site you created. All the website files and codes always belong to them. You cannot even migrate your website away from their platform because you never had access to the site files, backend, CSS code, and so on. If anything bad occurs to the website builder, then all your time and effort will be in vain and you will need to start all over again from the beginning.

Their advertisements make their products sound lucrative and easy to use, but, in reality, you may find it quite complicated. You will need to pay a monthly fee for your website. If you stop, your website will be gone. Almost every website builder is the same, and there is no guarantee that your website will be up and running all the time.

This is reason enough for not using any kind of DIY website builder. A professional website design company utilizes all the popular tools, for example, WordPress. They will give you the freedom of choice without the risk of losing your website.

Not SEO Friendly

When you begin making a website, it is important that it be search engine optimization (SEO) friendly. Embracing SEO can make your website successful because it helps increase traffic as well as search ranking on your website. This means if someone searches Google, your website will be included at the top of the search results.

Most DIY website builders use outdated codes for building a website. Some of them are generated in a visual editor, creating unnecessary code and extra HTML. This can hurt your ranking in the search engine. In some cases, the servers may not have access to the website platform, whereas some may have access to meta descriptions, headings, and other attributes. You may have options to add plugins, but some of them require you to pay an extra cost.

Professional website developers can fulfill the objectives of SEO for your website content and offer better design and development. This also lets you customize SEO strategies once your website is professionally ready to use.

Cost Inefficient

Building a DIY website does not incur much cost, as you are doing everything on your own. Initially, you have to pay some money for set up along with the monthly fee for using their site. Not all website templates in DIY website builders are free; you will need to purchase some templates if you do not like the unpaid options. You may need to spend much more than usual for domains, registering, and hosting. Even the site add-ons often cost money. If you fail to pay your website on time for any reason, then there is a chance that they will take it offline.

Some DIY website builders are absolutely free, but you cannot customize your domains, and free builders can be quite problematic for professional and reputable businesses. DIY website builders can limit your options.

Professional website development services will cost you a significant amount initially, but by investing a reasonable amount, you will get the exact website you need. This will worth your money and time because you will be assured a highly customizable and SEO-friendly website.

Waste of Time

DIY website builders allow quick and easy web design, and, obviously, you want to save some time. But in most cases, the opposite happens. Nearly all such builders lack expertise. You may need to spend hours learning how to install and configure the theme, add content, and make other modifications according to the objective of your site.

For professionals, designing a website may take around 60 to 80 hours on average, including all the research, functionality, frameworks, plugins, and collecting the required components. Whereas with DIY website builders, this may take more than 120 hours, or close to 4 weeks. As a business owner, your primary concern will be running and growing your business, and a DIY website design can be a drawback to your business growth.

Questionable Security

Security is an important factor for a website, but DIY website builders often fail to provide proper security. This can result in a hacked server or website. Anytime your site builder has a drag-and-drop interface or a menagerie of plugins, it can lead to added vulnerabilities in your site. If you are not paying ongoing attention or are not diligent enough to keep everything up to date, then chances are high that your site will be susceptible to hackers.

When using professional website builders, your site remains secure because the codes used for plugins are written with security in mind. For this reason, whoever tries to hack your site must be able to access the actual coding to succeed. Also, the codes are different for every site, which is a plus to maintain security for your account.

Slow in Speed

DIY website builders are slower than usual, and slow websites are bad for visitors, sales, and, most importantly, for SEO. They use hosts or shared servers for the created websites along with thousands of other users. This causes a lot of traffic and ends up making your site slow due to limited bandwidth and access permission to the server. You will lose the audience if your page takes more than a minute or does not load fully from their devices.

Professionally made websites do not have these kinds of speed-related problems because they don’t use shared servers. They even can utilize the analytics of every page according to the speed insights of your visitors. A finely built custom website will offer quick performance.

Not Enough Support

If you run into some errors while working on your website through a DIY website builder, you might not have many options for support. Nearly every platform has an online chat or phone support facilities, but they are not fast enough to deal with your problems. Also, multiple bugs and technical glitches can occur, and these may hurt your website.

Professional website builders can give you better and faster support, and you can rely on their solution no matter the issue you are dealing with. A professional can help you understand any problem with your website and will provide regular maintenance and support.

While searching the internet, you will find a number of free DIY website builders, and you may decide to sign up for one. However, before you do that, you should be aware of the consequences of choosing the quick and easy option. Even if it seems affordable, easy to launch, and a no-brainer, there are some complexities and many disadvantages to using these DIY website builders.

Serious marketers who do not want to ruin their business, products, or organization should avoid these cheap website builders and hire a professional. I am sure you can find one within your budget who can build a website which will be beneficial to you rather than a liability.

List of wifi boosters under $100

If you are struggling against slow internet reception, there are indeed simple solutions. One alternative is to invest in a wireless interface extension. And this is particularly helpful in extending your WiFi signal to a location that would otherwise not receive a signal, such as a garage, workshop or separate apartment, etc.

However, but not all Wi-Fi range boosters are made equal. We have analyzed countless WiFi booster under $100 and are pleased to present you the best of the bunch.

Things to Consider – Do Your Homework

What to consider before you buy a WiFi booster, you need to know many things to make the correct purchase and get as much mileage for your money.

First, you must do your homework. You will not be smart enough to make a good purchase if you are not familiar with the wireless speed of your network service provider and your router maximum wireless speed. What do you need to search for? If you consider all these things, you are much more likely to be happy with your purchase.

Plug-In or Desktop?

Although most Wi-Fi extensions use small plug-in design features that directly connect to a wall outlet, they are not the only option available. Others use bigger design features, very much like a traditional router, which sit on a desk or shelf. Such larger devices would not have the same weight and size limits of plug-in units, so smarter antenna positioning and better internal hardware are possible. On the other hand, plug-in models are often cheaper and easier to install.

WiFi Compatibility

The very first thing you need to know here is whether the booster is fully compatible with your wireless Internet protocol. Some different protocols are available, for example, 802.11N and 802.11AC. If your booster does not match your router, you are not lucky enough.

Internet Speed

As I said above, you must also ensure that your router speeds are fully compatible with your Wi-Fi booster. If your router is rated at 1200 Mbps and your booster is only good at 750 Mbps, you will never get your booster’s full range. The reverse is true, too. Purchasing an AC750 booster with a 300 Mbps router is pointless.

Security standards

If you really want to maximize your security against aggressive anonymous online attacks, ensure that your Wi-Fi booster meets the necessary security requirements on the Web. WPA2-PSK (AES) is one of the current Internet security standards.

Easy of use

Some WiFi extensions could be set up and immediately activated by just pressing the button. Many others usually require you to install the software either on a computer or phone or remotely via an app. If you don’t know how to go about it, this can be a nightmare. In this case, try to find somebody who is better versed than you are.

You’re going to end up paying for the best if you want the best. Never pay more than you should, that said. If the booster is significantly faster than your wireless router or paid internet service, you waste your money.

Extender, Booster or a Repeater?

The difference between Wi-Fi extensions, signal boosters and wireless repeaters is confusing. While every term is often used, this is a bit of tech jargon that should never be confusing, since they all mean the same.

A Wi-Fi extender retransmits your Wi-Fi signal, enhancing both the weak signal and expanding the area covered. Therefore, calling a Wi-Fi extender by a different term, such as a wireless repeater or range extender, is entirely correct. As long as your Wi-Fi signal booster is appropriately set up, it doesn’t matter what you call it.

As we all have different connections to the Internet, there will not be a single decent range Wi-Fi booster for all of us. Fortunately, wireless networks of all speeds here under the sun have more than enough options that are available. But if you are not fully satisfied with your area network coverage, the solution to your problem is the absolute best Wi-Fi booster on the market. You only have to make a decision.

How to Better Manage Diabetes

What is Diabetes?

Diabetes has 3 main types:  Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational diabetes.

  • Type 1 diabetes – persons who have type 1 diabetes means their body does not make insulin. Insulin is needed every day for a person to live. You need insulin to take the glucose or sugar from the foods you eat. This sugar will later turn into energy which your body needs for day to day work.

  • Type 2 diabetes – this is the most common type of diabetes. People who have type 2 diabetes means their body does not make or use enough insulin to support their body. People who acquire this type of diabetes take pills or insulin to control their diabetes.

  • Gestational diabetes – Pregnant women usually get this type of diabetes. Diabetes may go away after the baby is born. However, they may have greater chances of acquiring diabetes later in their lives even if it goes away after giving birth.

Managing Diabetes

Managing diabetes requires total awareness. It’s important to know what makes your blood sugar fall and rise and learn how to control several factors that affect your diabetes. Here are some of the actions you can take to manage your diabetes.

  • Be active

One of the most important parts of diabetes management plan is physical activity. Regular physical activities help the body use insulin more efficiently.  Exercising uses muscles to release glucose for energy. Insulin and physical activities work together to help lower the blood sugar level. Light activities at home such as gardening and household chores help improve blood sugar. Here are the steps to better manage your diabetes through exercise:

  • Talk to your doctor about your exercise plan
  • Stick to your exercise schedule
  • Check your blood sugar levels before exercising
  • Always stay hydrated
  • Adjust your diabetes treatment plan if needed

  • Eat Well
  • Choose foods that are low in saturated fats, calories, trans fat, salt, and sugar.
  • Foods rich in fiber such as pieces of bread, cereals, rice, pasta, or whole grain are also proven to help.
  • Drink water instead of soda or juice.
  • Know what to do every day
  • Always take your medications even when you feel good.
  • Ask your doctor if you need to take aspirin to prevent stroke or heart attack.
  • Always check your feet if there are red spots, blisters, cuts or welling. If there is, call your healthcare team immediately.
  • Keep your mouth, teeth, and gums healthy by brushing and flossing at least twice every day.
  • Stop or better yet, do not smoke.
  • Always check your blood sugar level. Check it at least twice each day.

Coping with Diabetes

Stress is one main factor that can raise your blood sugar. To lower stress, try some simple and effective activities such as gardening, deep breathing, meditating, taking a walk, listening to your favorite song or working on your own hobby.

If in case you’re feeling down, it is never wrong to seek professional help. You may ask advice from mental health counselor, a close friend or a family member who will always listen to you to help make you feel better.

Let Me Explain One of the Biggest Reasons Why Liberals Lose So Often

Republicans have dominated local and state elections all over the country, even in quite a few supposed “blue” areas. They have controlled Congress for the better part of the last quarter century. And liberals continue to lose. In fact, it seems as though they are doing everything in their power to ensure their losses are repeated in the future.

Over the past few years, it has become evident there are a number of reasons for their ridiculous losing. It seems as though they’re actually working at it. There were the false reports from liberals of Trump supporters hunting down various demographics of America. These reports were so ridiculous no one with a sane mind believed them, realizing that the liberals were simply lying through their teeth losing the trust of many of their previous followers. There were the riots used by leftists as a method of self-expression in recent years which has surely won many converts to the other side because no respectable member of society condones rioting. The continual calling of everyone who disagrees with them a racist has definitely left a bad taste in many people’s mouths. Apparently, much of America doesn’t actually like being called racist, so out they run.

Although the list above would be enough for the liberals to continue their march of self-destruction, that simply isn’t enough for them. The number one reason for their continued loss is their determination to remain self-indulgent toddlers. For example, respectable universities like Georgetown offered therapy for students distraught by the last presidential election. The University of Michigan Law School actually scheduled a post-election event with play time creating a bizarre, politicized preschool for pouting adults. They actually described the event as such:

The liberals are not going to win the working class back as long as they surmise that modern liberalism is an ideology that turns adults into those who must take naps and throw temper tantrums when they don’t get their way.

The average American adult simply can’t relate to this. Most American adults have kids and a mortgage and so have to get up every morning for a job to provide for their families. They work hard for what they make and work harder to stretch those dollars as far as they can. They simply don’t have time to express their emotions through play dough because a favorite candidate lost. Most American adults are choosing to be adults. Thus, the liberals have isolated themselves from average Americans because of their continual regression into pre-pubescence.

This reason alone is enough for most Americans to choose to look elsewhere for their representation in government. Seeing grown men and women behave like petulant toddlers is disturbing at best. Why should the average American entrust his representation to those who behave so ridiculously? Why should he trust them to make life-changing decisions for the greatest country in the world? Why should he trust them to run our country when they can’t control their emotions? He shouldn’t. So, he doesn’t.
